Yes, our cider does contain alcohol.
Island Orchard Cider is a hard cidery, and our ciders range from 6.5% to 17% ABV. If you're visiting with children or anyone who prefers not to drink alcohol, we also offer non-alcoholic sweet cider and cherry juice from our neighbors at Seaquist Orchards.

At this time, we don’t take back used bottles. If you know any home brewers of beer, wine, cider, or kombucha, they might find the bottles useful. Otherwise, repurposing around the house or recycling are the best alternatives. 

Island Orchard Cider has a shelf life of 2-3 years when sealed and stored in a cool, dark, and dry place. Unlike wine, cider will not get better with age. While the cider may not go bad after 3 years of storage, it will start to lose some of its delicious flavor and effervescence.

Once opened, Island Orchard Ciders are best enjoyed within 3 days, but can sometimes last over a week when properly capped and stored in the fridge.

Island Orchard Vinegar is extremely shelf stable due to its 5% acidity, and with proper storage should last for years even after opening.

We have a pet-friendly outdoor patio. We do not allow animals inside the building in compliance with Wisconsin state laws for food and beverage manufacturing facilities. Service animals are the exception.

Yes! Our cidery is fully handicap accessible. Everything, including parking, is located on a single level, with step-free access, wide doorways, and accessible restrooms. If you have any specific accessibility needs or questions before your visit, feel free to contact us. We're happy to help!

Yes, definitely! Reach out to us at info@islandorchardcider.com with your event date and party size to see if we can host your special event.

During normal open hours, we do not have the space to accommodate large parties like buses and tour groups. To schedule private events, wedding parties, or to see if we can accommodate your group, please contact us!

*Please note, parties may or may not be accepted depending on what part of the busy season we are in.

We don’t offer tours because our production space is relatively small. However, if you visit the taproom, the indoor bar and seating area are in the same room as our fermentation tanks. On weekdays, you may even get the chance to see our production crew in action.

We offer a non-alcoholic sweet cider from our neighbors, Seaquist Orchards, as well as a seasonal shrub soda made with our Island Orchard Vinegar.

For allergy and sanitation purposes, outside food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages are not allowed. We offer an array of local meat, cheeses, and other snacks to build your own snack board. Please refrain from carrying in crock pots, packaged snack goods, catering trays, prepackaged entrees, and other alcoholic beverages. Those who carry in outside food and beverage may be asked to leave. If you have questions about our food policy or available options please contact us!

Yep! All of our hard ciders are gluten free. Island Orchard Vinegars are also gluten free. Our production facility does not process any gluten-containing ingredients.

We also have snack foods available that are packaged and gluten free.

An Island Orchard Cider flight is four 3-ounce pours of hard cider. A flight allows you to enjoy a sampling of our products. We offer preselected flights, or you can build your own.

Ice Cider is a specialty item that’s only available for sale at Island Orchard Cider and our sister cidery, Pomona Cider Co. We unfortunately cannot ship Ice Cider at this time.

You can find the full selection of Island Orchard Cider at our taproom and at our sister cidery, Pomona Cider, in Milwaukee. We also have an online store, and our ciders are available at select retailers throughout Wisconsin, thanks to our distribution partners, Capitol-Husting / All State Wine & Liquor, and Noelke Distributors.

Island Orchard Cider is in downtown Ellison Bay near the tip of the Door County Peninsula. Our taproom offers customer parking right off of Highway 42 and Garrett Bay Rd.
